1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PTEPilot ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PTEPilot provides AI-powered PTE Academic practice tests using a "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) model. Users provide their own API keys from third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek) to generate practice questions and receive scoring feedback.

3. User Accounts

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. API Keys and Third-Party Services

You acknowledge that:

• PTEPilot requires you to provide your own API keys from third-party AI providers
• You are solely responsible for obtaining, managing, and paying for these API keys
• PTEPilot is not responsible for costs incurred from third-party API usage
• PTEPilot encrypts and secures your API keys but cannot guarantee absolute security
• You must comply with the terms of service of the AI providers you use

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or commercialize the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

6. Content and Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of PTEPilot (including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and designs) are owned by PTEPilot and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Practice questions generated by AI are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. PTEPilot is not affiliated with Pearson PTE Academic.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

PTEPilot is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That the Service will meet your requirements or expectations
• That the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The accuracy of AI-generated questions or scoring
• That practice tests will improve your actual PTE Academic scores

PTEPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using PTEPilot, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Donations

Donations to PTEPilot are voluntary and non-refundable. Donations do not entitle users to additional services or features beyond what is stated at the time of donation.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
